Artwork on Display at Waterloo

Merseytravel have placed my award winning image of Another Place at Waterloo Station above the exit staircase. This picture is available on one of the new postcards which are in the shops now, a little earlier than expected.

On the Beach....Volcanic Sunset

April will be remembered for the days of volcanic dust in the atmosphere. This picture was taken on Crosby beach just before sunset on Thursday 15th April, the day all flights were cancelled. The layers of dust high in the atmosphere resulted in a couple of days of red suns sinking into the sea.

The following day the sunset was very similar with the sun sinking into a dusty hazy horizon but the best light came after sunset with the wonderful afterglow filling the sky as seen below. If you look carefully a sliver of new moon near top left and the twinkling of Venus below have just made their presence felt in the sky.

At the Albert Dock

I have just put a selection of my pictures of Another Place up at Unit 7, The Colonnades, Albert Dock, Liverpool, (near The Tate) and hope to be there on Saturday 17th April between two and four pm to chat about my work and sign cards and prints.

Coming Soon ... New Postcards

Currently at the printers is a new set of Another Place postcards. There are twelve new images in the set of twenty, making it possible for those of you who have previously bought a set of twelve to buy a new set of twelve cards with all new images. The cards will be available by the end of April.
