In Camera ... Liverpool Waterfront illuminated
The Liverpool waterfront photographed from Birkenhead during the celebrations last weekend commemorating 100 years of the Royal Liver Buildings when all the buildings were illuminated.
The ship in the foreground is the "Mersey Seaways" Belfast-Birkenhead ferry.

In Camera ... Clouds gather at Crosby beach
The sunlight still sparkles on the beach and highlights the iron men, even as the clouds are forming, filling the sky with their darkness, threatening an end to the lazy humid days of summer.
This picture was captured yesterday afternoon just after high tide, the air was hot and heavy, little wind and it just seemed as though the clouds were gathering.

In Camera ... Painted sky at Crosby Beach
After a brilliant sunset last night the sky looked as though an artist had painted brush strokes of vermillion, crimson and orange across the horizon.
Earlier the sun had set as a flaming orange ball into a very clear horizon.
