The rapidly changing weather of late October brought the opportunity to capture some new scenes of Liverpool with dramatic lighting as squalls of rain were chased by sunlight. The problem with Liverpool scenes these days is to try and capture familiar scenes in a new light and this good bad weather was an inspiration.

The weather slowly improved yesterday, Liverpool actually enjoyed a brief spell of sunlight yesterday afternoon and, for those watching the ship prepare to depart in the evening, it was a warm, balmy evening.

The new Museum of Liverpool which opened this week. This modern building seems perched over the Liverpool waterfront, reflecting here the Liver Buildings and the setting sun.
