The snow fell thick and heavy in Liverpool last week and the city came to a standstill for a few days, the good point was that it was the perfect opportunity to get out and take pictures during the few cold, crisp winter days we had when the temperature did not rise above freezing.
This picture shows the now nearly completed Museum of Liverpool and the name of the boat in the foreground - Snowbird!
The grey patch on the water at the centre of Canning Dock is ice, a few days later and it was thicker still.
