This sky looked similar at first to that of a few days ago but, as the sun sank lower in the sky, the clouds dispersed and the colours intensified, the sun eventually setting into the sea as a huge glowing orb of light.
I love the way the low light catches the ripples in the sand, giving texture to the beach.
This sort of image also looks good in black and white with plenty of variation in tone.
This iron man looks as though he has put on a heavy winter coat and boots, in silhouette the barnacles encrusted on the metal have made the figure bulkier and given him a furry edge.
