In Camera ... Departure of the Queen Elizabeth
The weather had improved into a beautiful, mild and calm evening as the Cunard Queen Elizabeth sailed out of Liverpool around 19.30 yesterday evening. The iron men of Antony Gormley's Another Place watched impassively as the ship sailed swiftly passed Crosby beach and headed off towards the setting sun.

Yesterday, Liverpool was host to Cunard's Queen Elizabeth. This image was captured from close to Seacombe Ferry Terminal on the Wirral during a bright spell in the slowly improving weather of Tuesday afternoon.
