Last Saturday night I was photographing the Prom's In The Park arranged by St. Mary's College, Crosby. The event was a great success even though somewhat muddy, but the rain held off, even though distant clouds looked somewhat ominous at times. The previous day had been constant rain but Saturday dawned bright and clear, a relief to the organisers

The mud let to some nifty footwear and gloriously colourful
wellies worn by some of the orchestra members. |

But the only Fireworks were those of the Grand Finale and the 1812 Overture. |
